Teresa Hoffman 1st Grade
Hi, I am Teresa Hoffman the first grade teacher at Holy Family School. I was born in Libby Montana but has lived in the Lewis-Clark valley most of my life. After graduating from Clarkston High School, I went on to Washington State University and earned an Elementary Degree in 1980.
During the summer of 1980, Mike and I were married. My husband is a graduate of Holy Family School. So from the beginning, we had strong ties to the school.
My teaching career began in 1982 at Holy Family School. I have taught k-4 in some capacity. Most of my experience has been in kindergarten. Last year I was given the opportunity to step into first grade when Mrs. Richardson became principal. It is very rewarding to watch these little people grow into independent readers and writers.
I mentioned my husband Mike but I would like to share the rest of my family. We have a son Jon who recently moved to Portland to pursue fire fighting. In the meantime, he is a supervisor in a private health club for the swim dept. Our daughter, Stephanie is beginning the nursing program at WWCC this fall. She works as a swim coach for our local swim team and also works as a phlebotomist locally. Both our children attended and graduated from Holy Family School.
In my spare time, you might find me walking, baking, reading, biking and shopping for shoes.
Holy Family School has been a very rewarding school to teach at. I look forward to each day with enthusiasm and thank all my families who have entrusted their children to me.
