What is the Holy Family Catholic School Power of Angels Annual Appeal?
The Power of Angels Annual Appeal is a yearly campaign designed to raise funds from alumni, parents and friends to offset the school's operating budget. Tuition, fundraisers and Parish support only covers 80% of the annual operating expenses incurred by the school. The Annual Appeal year runs concurrently from November-October and the money raised will fund monthly expenses throughout the year that are not covered by other means. This money stays in our Clarkston checking account and is used exclusively by Holy Family School for operational needs.
Why does Holy Family need the Annual Appeal?
Without support from the Annual Appeal, Holy Family School would not be able to provide a faith based, positive learning environment which has a consistent, academic core program that our student body requires in order to prepare them for life. Over 98% of our students go on to college and over 92% of our students achieve test results in the top 10% nationally. The Annual Appeal allows our participation and achievements numbers to be at these high levels. Not only do our students excel at all levels, Holy Family School also instills values and spiritual growth that will last a lifetime.
2005 - 2006 Contribution and Recognition Program
This year we are embarking on an expanded Annual Appeal with a new contribution and recognition program that we call Power or Angels. Father Tom came up with this new theme based on the Biblical representation of the different levels of Angels. There will be a life size Angel installed in the Gym that will list the donors by Angelic Levels. There will also be several special functions throughout the year for the donors as well as recognition in school programs. This is a wonderful way to recognize our donors since they truly are our Angels on Earth. We would ask that you give the Power of Angel Annual Appeal careful consideration.
