3. Scholarship Aid is available to those who need some tuition assistance. Scholarship applications are attached and need to be completed and returned with your registration packet. Each family is asked to prayerfully & honestly consider what they can afford and how much help they need. The Scholarship program receives funding from the Landkammer Estate, Annual Angel Appeal and the Pearl Conn Memorial Fund. Receipts from the funds vary due to market conditions, so we cannot always predict that the actual funds available will be the same as the previous years. It is also very important that you understand that the difference between the financial aid amount received and the total needed to educate your children is your responsibility. We cannot subsidize your share.

4. Clarkston School District provides us with BUS services. (Prices could change after the district board meets in the summer)

Our office will bill you (3) times per year if you choose to use this service. Cost is:

1 child - to and from school $10.00 per month 1 child - one-way $5.00 per month

5. Hot Lunch Program: Clarkston School District provides us with daily hot lunches.

Costs for the hot lunches are as follows: Grade PreK - 6 $2.25 Cold Milk $ .35

You may pay for these lunches daily, weekly or monthly. We also will bill you monthly if you choose.

We have to pay the school district every month so it is important that I receive payment from you promptly. Free/Reduced lunch applications will be given to everyone at the beginning of the school year and are available anytime throughout the year. (Prices could change during the summer after the district board meets)

6. Volunteer Hours: Parent involvement is essential for the success of a good Catholic school. In an effort to keep tuition costs down, we must do some major fundraisers. With this comes the need for much help and support from our families. Some major fundraisers are the annual Auction, Magazine Drive, Easter Candy Sales, Scrip Program, etc. Parents can also volunteer in a variety of other ways from lunchroom helper, classroom helper, field trip drivers, recess duty, etc. Volunteer forms will be sent out at the beginning of the new school year at which time you can sign-up for various ways to help your school.

Holy Family School

Scholarship Application

At Holy Family School we believe that every child should be provided with a strong Catholic education if it is the desire of that child’s family. We work hard to make this education available to your family through fundraisers, scholarship assistance and by trying hard to keep tuition cost within reason. At the same time the school has responsibilities to pay the general operating cost, wages and insurance of our employees as well as the maintenance on the building. We factor all of these costs within our budget and rely on our faith and support of our parish, school and community. The actual cost of educating one student is about $5000.00 for this school year. Our tuition is based on this figure and we try very hard to keep the cost within a reasonable amount. We will make every effort to award each child some portion of the allotted funds available for scholarship. Some scholarship monies are specifically set for those of the Catholic faith like the Landkammer Scholarship. There is another scholarship available along with Annual Angel Appeal money for those non-catholic families who have chosen Holy Family. We take pride in making our school and all that we have to offer available for all faiths and denominations. Receiving scholarship does not affect your registration fee, hot lunch or day care cost and these bills need to be kept current and paid in full on a regular basis.

We appreciate your choice of Holy Family for your child. We are here to work with you as your child’s primary teacher. We appreciate your support and efforts in any way possible to help our school remain a strong, faith filled learning environment.

Please fill out the questions below to help in determining the amount of scholarship awarded to your family. No one will be given full scholarship as we try to divide the amount allocated equally between all recipients.
